Lepin Star Wars Building Set List

Back in June 2016, I prepared a list of the many Modular buildings that Lepin has mass produced. Since that time, Aliexpress has been flooded with Lepin Star Wars sets that are complete knock-offs of the Lego sets.  I can't understand how Lepin can quickly bootleg so many of the  large Lego sets, even the ones that have just come out for 2016.

Of course Lepin can't use the trademarked Star Wars name, so they have called their series Star Wnrs. Anyways, I was searching for a list of all the Lepin Star Wnrs sets on the Internet but couldn't find one, so I've compiled this list of all the ones that I know of here.

I only have a few of the Lepin Star Wars sets, and the one I am saving up for is the Lepin Sandcrawler.   I can attest that the quality of the sets is comparable to Lego, however the minifigures in some of the earlier sets, like Rey's Speeder, Poe's X-wing, the Millenium Falcon and the Resistance Troop Transporter, were inferior to  the Lego versions.

Please note that bootleg brand Bela has also copied a handful of the Lego Star Wars sets under the name Space Wars.  You can find that list here.

    1. Wow, lots of others on the way too!

      UCS Imperial Shuttle
      UCS Y-Wing
      Tie Striker (2016 set)
      Motorized AT-AT walker

I wonder if they will release any Star Wars MOCS like Anio's Venator or Cavegod's UCS AT-AT. And a hangar bay 327 set would be awesome!

  3. The sets they choose to copy seem to be a bit random. There are SO many sets I would buy if they made them! A couple of the sets listed above (that I really want) seem to be unavailable. A search of ebay and aliexpress return no results. Specifically the 05023 Hoth set.

  4. I bought the Super Star Destroyer. Quality is great. Coming towards the last half, the color don't always match (grey vs black), and a HUGE forewarning, for those who are used to doing Lego's. The instructions are good, but they don't go bag 1 to bag 2 to bag...15. Instead, The pieces just came mixed, which was more of a puzzle than anything. It made it more challenging and more enjoyable, if you asked me though.

I just bought the Ultimate Millennium Falcon. Over 5000 pieces. Usually costs over $7000 for Lego. Got it for $130.....$130!!!! Can't go wrong, even with the inconvenience of the pieces being all delivered en masse.
